About World on Stage

World on Stage, Inc  was founded in 2002.

The intent of World On Stage was to present life-enriching world music and dance concerts in the Greater Boston area to expose the richness of our national diversity.

Initially, “World on Stage” presented such major talent as

– the multi-Grammy winner and Latin phenomenon, Tito Puente,

– Israel’s most famous female singer Chava Alberstein,

– Europe’s king of brass bands, the famous gypsy Boban Markovic Orchestra,

– and others.

The concept of the World on Stage has since changed. Presently the focus is to showcase more of the newer and exciting younger performers on the music and dance stage today.

Prior to World On Stage, Inc productions theatre productions for schools, some of other past productions have included Boston International Festival, Chicago International Festival, Philadelphia International Festival, Detroit International Festival,  and Washington DC International Festival, with focus on international shows for education and and to showcase the cultural diversity in our country.
